Day 1. MADRID – GRANADA (train)

The tour to Andalusia starts at the Madrid train station. Presentation at the train station of Atocha in Madrid at the agreed time. At the agreed time, presentation at the meeting point at the Alhambra to find your guide. We begin our experience with the visit of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, former residence of the Sultans of Al-Andalus lead by an official guide of Granada. The visit to the Alhambra includes the entrance to the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife Gardens. For 2.5 hours you will walk through the streets, palaces, courtyards and gardens of the Alhambra accompanied by a qualified professional guide, with extensive knowledge that will give you a lot of information about the construction of the Alhambra, architecture, as well as historical notes on the life of the kings and Arab sultans who lived in the Alhambra. Free time at your disposal in Granada. At night, we recommend you optionally to enjoy an authentic flamenco show in a typical gipsy cave at Sacromonte quartier, a walk through the Albaicin and a panoramic view of the Alhambra at night.

Day 2. GRANADA – MADRID (train)

We start our last day in Granada day with a good breakfast at the hotel. Free day at your disposal to discover the impressive artistic and cultural heritage of Granada. We recommend a walk through the historic centre of Granada, which still retains all the magic of its Moorish past. You will discover buildings of great beauty: the Renaissance Cathedral, Royal Chapel of Granada, La Madraza – Old Nasrid University, Basilica “Virgen de las Angustias”, Basilica of San Juan de Dios, the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia, emblematic squares where street artists display their flamenco art: Plaza Bib-Rambla, Plaza Nueva or the famous San Nicolas viewing point in Albaicin to admire the best views over the Alhambra. Do not miss the Alcaiceria, the old Silk Market during the Nasrid period, now a network of alleys full of craft shops where you will surely find some souvenirs of Granada. Late in the afternoon transfer on your own to the train station to travel by high-speed train to Madrid. Pleasant and short journey with the comfort and speed of this AVE train.
