Once in Spain, we enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Extremadura Region, extensive areas of holm oaks and cork oaks known as “dehesas” and where Iberian pigs roam freely in search of acorns. We arrive at Merida, the ancient roman Augusta Emerita, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have free time to explore the archaeological site of Mérida at your leisure (entrance not included), where the imposing Roman Theatre of Mérida stands out.
