Day 1. (Sunday) BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – PAMPLONA
Departure from Barcelona towards Zaragoza, the capital of the Aragon region and a city steeped in history. Strategically situated on the banks of the Ebro River, the most voluminous river in the Iberian Peninsula, Zaragoza was known as Caesaraugusta during the Roman era and has played a pivotal role in Spanish history for centuries. You will have free time to admire the stunning Basilica of Our Lady of the Pilar, the patroness of the Hispanic world. In the afternoon, we continue our journey toward the north. We arrive in Pamplona, the historic capital of the ancient Kingdom of Navarre. Day 2. (Monday) PAMPLONA – SAN SEBASTIAN – BILBAO – SANTANDER

If you are planning a visit to the Sanctuary of Fátima, you will have ample time to explore this spiritual hub at your own pace. Key landmarks include the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Chapel of the Apparitions, the very heart of the sanctuary where, according to tradition, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children: Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta. Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll have a full day to explore each corner of Lisbon. We’ll start the day with an in-depth sightseeing tour of Lisbon. Our panoramic tour starts at Eduardo VII Park, offering stunning views over the city towards the Tagus River. We’ll dive into the heart of the Baixa Pombalina, passing through the majestic Marquis of Pombal Square and the bustling Rossio, where you can admire the hilltop São Jorge Castle overlooking the ancient Alfama district. We continue through the elegant Estrela neighbourhood to admire the grand Estrela Basilica before heading to the waterfront of Belem district. Day 12. (Thursday) LISBON – MERIDA – MADRID
Our last breakfast in Portugal. Departure towards the Spanish border, crossing beautiful green plains that extend as far as the eye can see, dotted with cork oaks and olive trees that resist time. Once in Spain, we enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Extremadura Region, extensive areas of holm oaks and cork oaks known as “dehesas” and where Iberian pigs roam freely in search of acorns. We arrive at Merida, the ancient roman Augusta Emerita, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have free time to explore the archaeological site of Mérida at your leisure (entrance not included), where the imposing Roman Theatre of Mérida stands out. This iconic theatre, a symbol of the city, continues to function after 2,000 years and hosts the International Classical Theatre Festival during the summer evenings.
