Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll have a full day to explore each corner of Lisbon. We’ll start the day with an in-depth sightseeing tour of Lisbon. Our panoramic tour starts at Eduardo VII Park, offering stunning views over the city towards the Tagus River. We’ll dive into the heart of the Baixa Pombalina, passing through the majestic Marquis of Pombal Square and the bustling Rossio, where you can admire the hilltop São Jorge Castle overlooking the ancient Alfama district. Day 19. (Friday) GRANADA – MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey toward the very heart of Spain. Leaving behind the lush fertile plains of Granada, we venture into the province of Jaén, where we are greeted by spectacular, rolling vistas of an immense sea of olive trees that blankets the hills as far as the eye can see. The transition from the warmth of Andalusia to the rugged landscapes of Castilla-La Mancha is marked by a dramatic crossing of the Despeñaperros Natural Park. This awe-inspiring gorge serves as a natural frontier, breaking through the barrier of the Sierra Morena mountains with its sheer, craggy cliffs and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Once we reach the Central Meseta, we traverse the vast, golden plains of La Mancha, a land defined by its sprawling vineyards, cereal fields, and endless horizons. As we travel through this historic region, the landscape is punctuated by picturesque villages and the iconic, timeless silhouettes of the windmills that inspired the legendary tales of Don Quixote. In the late afternoon, we arrive in Madrid, where our grand journey comes to an end.
