Daytrip to visit Gorafe from Roquetas de Mar. A beautiful excursion straight through the “bad-lands” of the Valley of Guadix up to Gorafe. We visit the Interpretive Center of the Megalithic Period which takes us back 5000 years in time to the Neolithicum, in order to understand the life and customs of the ancient inhabitants of the region. In the afternoon we start the trip back along the village of Alicun de las Torres where we discover the Thermal Baths of Alicun, a true oasis in the middle of a dry and savage countryside.

An excursion to the Sierra de los Filabres Mountains from Roquetas de Mar. A beautiful daytrip to Sierra de los Filabres, a landscape where many cultures cross each other. We will see prehistorical excavations, the rests of a roman aqueduct, Arabian castles and villages with white washed houses. We will also visit the Platform for Solar Energy of Almeria, the largest centre in Europe for investigation, development and testing of solar energy.

An excursion to Cartagena with Pepe Tours. Daytrip to the “Costa Calida” of Murcia in order to visit Cartagena, one of the first settlements of the Iberians accompanied by English speaking guides. Take a stroll to the old town of Cartagena, a city full of history, which was inhabited by different cultures which left their traces in a huge artistic heritage.

A marvelous excursion to visit Lorca from Roquetas de Mar. A trip along the Mediterranean Motorway till the Province of Murcia, to discover Lorca, a real “workshop of time”. We’ll visit the most beautiful sites of Lorca with a local guide. We’ll take a stroll into the old own of Lorca visitting the Main Square (Plaza de España), the church “Colegiada de San Patricio”, the visitors center and aldo the highlight of Lorca, the impressive Castle of Lorca.

Spend a wonderful day visiting Nerja and Frigiliana with English speaking guides, departing from Roquetas de Mar. A trip along the Tropical Coast to a visit the beautiful village of Nerja, located between the Almijara Mountain Range and the Mediterranean Sea, with its beautiful viewpoint “The Balcony of Europe”. There is also the possibility to visit the impressive “Caves of Nerja”. In the afternoon, we’ll take a stroll into the white washed moorish village Frigiliana.

Fully escorted coach trip to the Alpujarra of Almeria leaving from Roquetas de Mar. On this excursion you will discover a variety of landscapes, travelling through the dry countryside of the Sierra de Gador Mountains, after which you will arrive in the region of the lower Andarax, a fertile region thanks to the water that flows through the river Andarax. This is the Alpujarra of Almeria, a surprising region, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Dayrip to Adra from Roquetas de Mar with English speaking guides. Coach trip along the Coast of Almeria till Adra, the westernmost city of the Province of Almeria. We’ll learn about Adra’s history during our guided tour of the old town, later on we’ll visit the city museums and also it’s fishing harbour, one of the most important in the whole Province of Almeria.

A beautiful excursion to Seron and Macael from Roquetas de Mar. Daytrip through the Sierra de los Filabres Mountains to discover Seron, a beautiful white village crowned by its somptuous castle. We’ll visit a factory where the famous serrano hams are air-dried, then a marble factory in Macael and also the quarries with white marble. After lunch we will make a stop in the middle of nature, next to the famous Menas of Seron. Before we return we will reach the mountain top of the Sierra the Filabres at a hight of 2.168 meters, where the Astronomical Observatory of Calar Alto is located.
