Day 1.

We depart from our terminal and travel towards Algeciras or Tarifa. We cross the water by ferry to Ceuta or Tangier where we pass through border control. We continue our trip towards Rabat (the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco) and visit the city with a local guide. After we’ve concluded our visit we arrive at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2.

After breakfast we travel to Marrakech via Casablanca where we’ll stop for a short visit next to the second greatest mosque in the world. When we arrive at Marrakech, we’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour through the city before going to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3.

Breakfast is followed by a visit with a local guide to Marrakech which is also known as the red city. We’ll discover the charm of this most enchanting city in Morocco before we return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4.

Breakfast and then departure to Meknes for a visit with a local guide. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5.

Breakfast and then a daytrip to Fes to visit the city with a local guide. In the afternoon we return to Meknes. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6.

After breakfast we leave for Tangier where we visit the city with a local guide. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7.

After breakfast we depart for Tangier harbour and our subsequent return trip to Algeciras. Return trip to our terminal. The end of our service.

Morocco is an Islamic country so full of mysticism that it looks like it moves on a flying carpet between myth and reality. Tangier, Fez, Casablanca, Marrakech… simply the mention of these city names is sufficient to conjure up a recollection of the rich aroma of spices, the sights, sounds, tastes, a sensory banquet even for the most experienced travellers.

Fez was the first of the Imperial Cities to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site (in recognition of its cultural heritage). The city was established in the 8^th century and was also the first city for Islamic religion in Morocco. It has one of the oldest universities in the world, even older than the Sorbonne in Paris. The city is built on hilly ground which makes the view over Fez very similar to the view over the city of Rome Fez is really formed by two cities, Fez el Bali, the old (established in the 8^th century by Moulay Idriss) and Fez el Jedida, the new (established in the 13^th century by the Merinies).

Meknassa of the Olive Trees (azeitun is the origin of the Spanish word aceituna, olive), is a Berber settlement of the 9^th century, however Meknes reached its peak during the government of Moulay Ismael, who converted it into the capital. This sultan, contemporary of Philip IV, embellished Meknes by giving it city walls, monumental gates, gardens, mosques, fortresses and its first palace, Dar Kebira. The result is one of the most monumental cities of Morocco.

Marrakech is a favourite for Spanish travellers and the international Jet Set. Yves Saint Laurent, Omar Sharif and Alain Delon have been regular visitors. Marrakech holds a certain seduction and in the past its name was the origin for the name of the country. It’s impossible to mention all of the places and monuments in this amazing city, so we’ve selected the most important ones for you, namely: the majestic Koutoubia (sister tower of the Giralda in Seville) and the Jemaa El Fna square (a UNESCO world heritage site in recognition of its cultural legacy).

Casablanca is so much more than the city forever associated with the classic film starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. It is Morocco’s largest city in population and is also the largest port. It’s the economic, financial and industrial capital of the country. Casablanca represents the country’s development and is the most modern city in the country. At first sight it doesn’t appear to be a resplendent city like the other Imperial Cities, however in its interior it holds a treasure trove, such as delightful art-deco architecture.

Rabat, the capital of Morocco since 1912, is an elegant and quiet city, contrasting with its past. It’s open spaces towards the ocean make Rabat a pleasant city to enjoy.

Few cities have the allure of Tangier – it has since time immemorial possessed a certain attraction. Painters (Matisse, Delacroix, Francis Bacon), writers (Tennessee Williams, Samuel Beckett, Truman Capote, Paul Bowles), multimillionaires (Barbara Hutton, Malcolm Forbes) and musicians like Igor Stravinsky all fell in love with this city and contributed towards its global fame. Tangier continues to enchant travellers from all over the world who are drawn to this legendary city.
